Famous quotes :'The secret to creativity is knowing how to hide your sources '(Albert Einstein) 'Relativity is the power to connect the seemingly unconnected''If i know what the picture was going to be like i wouldnt make it. It was almost like it was made already. The challenge is more about trying to make what you cant think of' (William Blake)Art is making something out of nothing and selling it' (Frank Zappa)IN THE BEGINNING (9 YEARS AGO)Born and bred East Londoner Vincent Fraser started his career as an Interior Designer.I started my career working for an Interior design practice in the city, working on corporate design schemes for banks and offices. I found this to be too constraining and ridged, not giving me the creative freedom I craved. I started gravitating, (at first unconsciously), more and more towards the graphic elements of each new project. Here I found there was far more scope for my creativity. I very soon realized that the only way that I would be truly happy was if I made the move into a more expressive medium and had complete creative control over the work I produced.Within a couple of months I had left my job in the city and had set up a little workstation at home. At the time I wasn€™t sure whether I had made the right decision, but the acceleration of my career has been phenomenal. I was now appearing in the very same publications, which I used to refer to for inspiration.Going into illustration was a natural progression for me, my whole life has been about creativity whether two or three-dimensional. I believe that the technical background that designing interiors gave me helped develop my keen eye for detail, colour and composition. When I first started illustrating I didn't really have a clue, it was purely trial & error. I wasnt totally prepared for the harsh realities of running my own business, and in this industry things change so fast you need to stay ahead of the game; Constantly re-inventing your work showing adaptability & versatility. To me the creative process is about learning, experimenting and understanding; the exploration of ideas, building something from nothing. Everyday is a learning process that€™s what keeps my work fresh. I take inspiration from everyday things, which has helped me to develop a diverse range of styles to suit any brief and always aim to create powerful and visually striking imagery that captures the imagination of the viewer. My approach to my career is the same as my approach to an illustration I have a rough idea of where I want to start, a very good idea of where I want to end, but really just want to enjoy the process in between.AND NOW !!!!The creative force behind world renowned Morphic-art is London based 35-year-old freelance designer and illustrator Vince Fraser who has worked for many leading UK and International publishing and design companies. His work has continued to develop and inspire creating vibrant, innovative and evocative artwork. He describes he's style as contemporary with various influences including the 70..s and urban culture. His highly versatile work can be found anywhere from VIP lounges through to luxury apartments and is starting to get the recognition it highly deserves.'Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others' (Vince Fraser)
