About Me

Welcome to the official Honest Marquee myspace page!With an imperative desire to re-invent the present musical boundaries, Honest Marquee are continuously challenging themselves to reach new levels. The two began working exclusively together in 2004. Drawing inspiration from intensely emotional past experiences, they unleashed their self-titled debut in 2006. In 2007 they remixed Bagio’s ’Kafer’, which appeared alongside remixes by other artists including En Esch of KMFDM on the ’Bagio Remix’ box set. Also in ’07, the sisters released self-remixed versions of ’Not Real’, ’Get Back Up’, and ’Not Even You’, which originally appeared on their debut. Currently, Honest Marquee are preparing to release their second full-length album ’Brain Rain’, and have plans for additional collaborations. Producing everything themselves with a fearless, nonstop approach, Honest Marquee create a sense of urgency appropriately matched with their message- "Truth is our Dogma."
