Palalalaka

Part 1:Two brothers started writing and recording songs at home back in 1996. After a short adventure with a band (2004-2005) they decided to move on together. In January 2006 they started the phenomenon Palalalaka. From January till April 2006 they've been working hard on there debut-EP Go and feed the rabbits, which was entirely recorded and produced at home on a 4-tracker. Palalalaka has been influenced by many artists and vegetables, which only contributes to their original sound. Influences are for example dEUS, velvet underground, Tom Waits, onions, radiohead, blur, carrots, the pixies, The Captain, garlic, pavement, David Bowie and the late beatles. The songs on Go and feed the rabbits are alternative pop songs which are launched into space or sent deep underground. Palalalaka is not afraid to let their music take unexpected turns, which makes the haunting, melancholic ambience increase. Palalalaka is in fact a wizard student with Irish blood, which influences the experimental being of the music. Palalalaka can best be described as Música impresionante.Part 2:After another adventure with a band the Palalalaka-brothers again decided to move on together, this time resulting in the recordings of their first full-length album "The invention of breakfast", this album has been recorded in 2008-2009 and has just been finished as a matter of fact. 'The invention of breakfast' can best be discribed as a great album. The Palalalaka-vision is still the same, except that it's different in some aspects, aspects not to be mentioned.
