Trisomy stands for a combination of rock/metal, influenced by gothic, atmospheric, melodic and progressive perspectives, combined with the powerful, clear, rock voice of Eva Kokken.
Biography
With the changing two members (vocals and bass), Trisomy immediately recorded the "Teaser 2002", providing means to realize about 15 concerts. During the spring of 2003 the CDDemo ’Entanglement’ was recorded at Studio Moskou in Utrecht. Thanks to this CDDemo Trisomy got even more concerts from September 2003 until February 2004.
Half way this tour, a second guitar player joined Trisomy, Eric Hazebroek (ex-Manifest, ex-Daeonia, The Saturnine). At the end of April, Trisomy decided to part ways with vocalist Irene Visser. Martine Thijs (studying popacademy at the Conservatorium of Enschede) immediately replaced the vocals for the planned concerts and the recordings of the CDDemo V . As a result, Trisomy got very good responses from the audience, other bands and magazines, seeing high potential in Trisomy.
January 2006, another vocalist was found: Eva Kokken.
Trisomy did a lot of concerts (40+) last year in The Netherlands and abroad in venues / at festivals like 013, P60, Mezz, Ekko, Boerderij, Tivoli De Helling, Tagrijn, Kade, t Beest, Lucky, Bibelot, Hedon, Bolwerk, Metropool, Summer Darkness Festival, Jamrock Festival with bands like Epica, Paradise Lost, Orphanage, Autumn, The Wounded, Sengir, My Sixth Shadow, Bloodflowerz, Sun Caged, To Elysium etc.
Al gained experience and growth was rewarded with a place in the semi-finals of Grote Prijs van Nederland, a national bandcontest featuring a selection of 30 of the best unsigned bands of the Netherlands.
