Based out of Brooklyn, NY - Close Connections consists of 2 members: K-Mix & Wendel a.k.a. Socaboy. Though respectively they have at least 15 years Djng experience, they finally decided to collaborate and form Close Connections in 2003. Hitting the Caribbean party scene by storm, they've played in many carnivals from Trinidad & Tobago to several in North America, as well as some of the biggest soca fetes in New York, Miami, Atlanta, Washington DC, Toronto, Montreal, and abroad.Close Connections takes the art of mixing, remixing, and playing soca music very seriously, but they are not limited to only soca. They are versatile with many other genres of music, such as Reggae, R&B, Pop, Hip Hop, and more dating back to before the 70's all the way up to the present.Look out for Close Connections in a party near you or you can catch them in NYC on 104.7FM The Fire Station for "The Wednesday Nite Vibe" every Wednesday from 6pm - 9pm & on "The Soca Storm" every Saturday from 6pm - 9pm.MUSIC 4 LIFE - CLOSE CONNECTIONS
