DJ TRooKLyN began spinning at the tender age of 4. Her father was an original member of The Supreme Team Soundcrew, founded in the late 70's in Santa Cruz, Trinidad. From an early age she was fascinated with vinyls and turntables and things that could be done with the two. As she grew into her early teens DJ TRooKLyN started to make herself known among the Miami community. Getting her first break at a house party in 2000, DJ TRooKLyN showed her peers her skills using a regular house stereo, an external CD player, and a tape deck to rock the party. A few years later she teamed up with an old high school friend, DJ Press Play. DJ TRooKLyN has worked alongside many popular caribbean DJs such as DJ Socaboy, DJ Tony Tempo, DJ Engineroom, Nocturnal Sound, and many more. Attending Florida International University, she now spins weddings, birthday parties, baby showers, and practically any occasion.
