Darnella was born on Nov 8, 1983. From a very small age her dreams were to become a singer. At the age of 21 Darnella finally put her dreams into action and decided to join a Brooklyn based band called "Cloud IX". Due to band differences some members branch off and created there own band called "Foreign Xchange". Darnella then decided to join that band where herself and Twhi lee got together and wrote her first single called "Work Me". The band then broke up and Darnella then decided to put the band scene on hold and become a solo artiste. She has worked with local artiste such as BMWA and also Baba. She has also gotten to work with some of soca’s finest and for her that alone was a dream come true.
