About Me

St. Brigid of Ireland
(Incorrectly known as BRIDGET).
Born in 451 or 452 of princely ancestors at Faughart, near Dundalk, County Louth; d. 1 February, 525, at Kildare. Refusing many good offers of marriage, she became a nun and received the veil from St. Macaille. With seven other virgins she settled for a time at the foot of Croghan Hill, but removed thence to Druin Criadh, in the plains of Magh Life, where under a large oak tree she erected her subsequently famous Convent of Cill-Dara, that is, "the church of the oak" (now Kildare), in the present county of that name. Died 1 February 523 at Kildare, Ireland of natural causes; buried in Downpatrick, Ireland with Saint Patrick and Saint Columba; removed to Jesuit church in Lisbon, Portugal
Canonized
I live one day at a time... I try my best to take life as it comes....and to keep myself informed. I think the most important thing in life his to make sure that your loved ones KNOW that you love them no matter the differences of opinion.....no matter the hurt feelings. I'll tell you more as I think of things :)
You might see me changing my layout a lot ... dont worry, its notta virus :) I have been enjoying making layouts and submitting them to skem9.com. It is a GREAT place to find layouts and help if you need it ... and there is a wonderful forum there too :) Just click the little skem9 htbutton at the bottom of my "about me" section to go to my page of layouts. I will prolly add more often :) Please feel welcome and invited to comment or rate my layouts while ur there :) If you have any requests for a layout ... just give me a hollar and I'll give it my best effort :)
"People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered; Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway. If you are successful you will win some false friends and true enemies; Succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; Be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you've got anyway. You see, in the end, it is between you and God; It was never between you and them anyway." -Mother Teresa
