I'm a great lover of music and especially Rush. I've seen Rush 7 times and I've seen many, many other concerts as well. To see an archive of the concerts I've attended in my lifetime go here: My .. Concert Scrapbook For those not too familiar with Rush, here's a handy link on their history: Rush History I'm not a professional musician. I play my guitar more as a hobby for fun in my spare time. I am currently interested in forming a band just for a fun side project. I've played in a few bands here and there, but nothing real serious. I like to play stuff in the bluesy rock vein, straight edge heavy metal, a bit of classical influence here and there. Obviously some Rush influence. But like I said, I'm just having fun. When I get time to play, which is fairly often lately, I really enjoy it. There are sample clips of my playing in my jukebox above.
My life is getting interesting. The last year and a half of my life has been a turning point for me. I am what you'd call a "late bloomer" I suppose. But that is all fine and good.
I wasn't a happy person in school, and until about a yr and a half ago I wasn't a happy person. Not truly happy anyway. I have found my enlighenment. The 39th yr of my life has been a miracle, and now I am in my magical 40th year. I am so happy now! I have not been this happy since I was a young kid. I have been working in the restaurant industry all my life, and I have enjoyed that, but now I find my life taking a serious turn for the better. I am a Certified Spiritual Healer. A Reiki Master Teacher. Reiki is energy healing, working with the energy of the physical body and the chakra system. The "aura" as it is commonly known. I am very good at what I do and I am heading towards the medical feild with plans to become an NAR, (Nurse's Assistant Registered) and soon thereafter an CNA (Certified Nurse's Assistant) My path is to help people, spread the love and be a lightworker. I have advanced psychic abilities now as well, which is part of being a Reiki Master. I do some readings for people from time to time, and I am also a Minister with the Universal LIfe Church and have plans to start doing weddings, funerals and other services in the near future. I have found my mission in life and am in tune with my spirit now. Feels good to be happy for the first time in my life. I LOVE crystals and gemstones! All crystals and gemstones have healing properties. I Reiki charge crystals and give them as gifts to my friends, family and co-workers. I get reports of people "feeling better" all the time. One woman told me her finger had hurt for about a month. I gave her a crystal to carry in her pocket and the next day about 24 hours later she came to me and told me her finger was feeling normal again. Another example, I had a co-worker who had a shoulder that hurt so badly that he couldn't raise his arm above his head. He was like this for one full year. I did Reiki on him for about 15 minutes while he held a crystal in his hand. He said he felt the energy moving from my hands on his shoulder down to the crystal in his hand, as a tingling sensation. And the next day he came into work and he was waving his arm around above his head and told me there was only very minimal pain. 15 minutes of Reiki cured a 1 yr old shoulder problem. I am not a real believer in modern Western Medicine, but I definitely believe in psychic energy, healing energy and holistic healing methods. It is very real and becoming more common in the west. Lots of people are still skeptical, but that's ok they'll learn some day. ha ha you have to start somewhere. And I always laugh because when my Reiki Master Dad (who is now passed away) did Reiki on me for the first time, I laughed at him and told him it was "the stupidist thing I'd ever heard of" ha ha ha so I do have a very good understanding of how the skeptics feel because I was one of them! But just remember, Einstein proved that there is no solid matter, everything is made of energy, there is also positive and negative energy as we all know, so from a scientific standpoint is Reiki really all that ridiculous? It makes perfectly logical scientific sense. wink wink
I AM a Certified Usui Reiki Master
Reiki is a spiritual healing art with its roots in Japanese origin. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which means “Universal Life” and (Ki) which means “Energy”. Reiki is not affiliated with any particular religion or religious practice. It is not massage nor is it based on belief or suggestion. It is a subtle and effective form of energy healing using spiritually guided life force energy.
Reiki is the life energy that flows through all living things. Reiki Practitioners understand that everyone has the ability to connect with their own healing energy and use it to strengthen energy in themselves and help others. It is believed that a person’s “ki” or energy should be strong and free flowing. When this is true a person’s body and mind is in a positive state of health. When the energy becomes weak or blocked it could lead to symptoms of physical or emotional imbalance.
A Reiki session can help ease tension and stress and can help support the body to facilitate healing on all levels – physical, mental, and emotional. A session is pleasant and relaxing and is often utilized for one’s personal wellness and not just for an illness.
