"The drawings and lettering are most impressive ...
He's been working hard at it with intense focus and it shows!!"
- R. Crumb
"Obviously an extraordinary talented artist and, particularly, letterer ...
very sensitive and careful linework; I wish I could be so careful and
sensitive with mine!"
- Chris Ware
"Fuckin' bad ass work."
- Hank Williams III
Christoph Mueller:
"I came to the solution in the last years of studying that you can try any style or whatever ... the thing that makes your artwork interesting is when you find out what's insideof you. Who you are. What gets you going. All that kind of stuff. That's where it becomes real art. Or at least something that I think is worthy of doing."
Joe Coleman:
"Yeah, and the process of doing that Christoph, is painful."
Christoph Mueller:
"Yeah."
Joe Coleman:
"But that's the prize. It should be painful. Most things that are worth while in life are painful. And life, even though you might try to avoid it, which is understandable, anyone would try to avaoid the fucked-up things in life, but that's what life is about. Life is about pain. Everybody's going to suffer, so why don't you face the suffering that's important to you. You're going to suffer all the other things too. Everybody ... No-one gets out of this world alive."

Next question.

This is a color that is called Tyrischer Purpur (Tyrian Purple)—it is the color of cloted blood. As a fluid that originates inside the heart—the organ that houses the soul—blood is of great symbolic importance to Mr. Mueller.

What does “Nosce Te Ipsum“ mean?

Does drawing increase the chances of getting laid?
Even though Mr. Mueller has been working very hard to prove it‘s so, he came to realize that it may after all work exclusivly for the master; R. Crumb.
Why does Mr. Mueller use his own blood in some of his drawings?
Propably because he ran out of fucking ink …
