I am Frau B Square from the film Flatland , which is now available as a Special Edition DVD, signed by the filmmaker !
The producers thought it would be fun to give all of the 'toons mySpace profiles and make friends to promote the movie.
I am the wife of B Square, who is clerk to our illustrious President Circle here in Flatland Just between you and me, my husband is really Pres C's (B and I call him Pres C here at home - I don't think that's treasonous or anything, is it?), well as I was saying B's absolutely the president's top clerk. The president relies on B for everything and confides everything in him.
In fact, B's hinted at something really surprising happening before the big Millenium celebration (I'm not positive what, but I think it involves that Senator Chromatistes - talk about your odd polygon!) and of course, B's right in the thick of things, hardly ever home with me and our precious little pentagons.
Speaking of the little guys, we've got a houseful and they are so precocious. They spend quite a bit of time playing with their cousins across the way - A, B, C, D and E Pentagon that is. That A Hexagon thinks he's too good for the rest, which I might add is a direct result of the attitudes of my brother and sister-in-law, the A Squares. B seems to think it's normal for his brother, A Square, to coddle A Hex and everyone to make so much over him since he's the first hexagon in their family. Well far be it for me to say, but in MY family we always said "sides don't make the polygon" and MY family feels that MY children are much more well adjusted and socially adept than A Hexagon who sits in his room holding himself aloof from ......
