I am an artist living on Manitoulin Island Ontario Canada. I am employed as an Arts Animator...WHAT IS AN ARTS ANIMATOR? An Arts Animator is a professional artist with a broad range of skills, experiences, and resources, that can be used to ‘animate', (put into motion) artistic activity in a community. An Arts Animator recognizes and utilizes available resources (human, financial, material, environmental, cultural, etc.) to plan, develop, execute, and evaluate a wide variety of arts programming, in collaboration with both community members and fellow artists. An Arts Animator embodies the spirit of collective creation, collaboration, innovation, inspiration, and visioning, and as a result, can bring together a cross section of community members from a variety of sectors to work towards a common goal. An Arts Animator also specializes in a specific arts discipline, is recognized by her/his peers as excelling in this discipline, and continues to develop, create, and express how they experience the world through this discipline. An Arts Animator is a new career of the 7th Generation, and the 21st Century.
My current place of employment is with The Debajehmujig Theatre Group where i am active in many fields including Design, Production, Performance, Writing, Directing and Training. Other skills include clothes making, illustration, music programming and dance.
In my off time i am a devout raver, i still frequent these little outings in my oldER age, but only those that cater to the sounds that are GOA, mmmmmm...i am also a big time clubber, i am now discovering the colorful world of cosplaying and finally a well rounded FREAK on little Manitoulin Island where i currently reside, where is that? i could simply tell you, but what fun would that be? look it up for yourselves, it could be fun geography lesson for ya!...It is my goal to become an icon, star, idol, virtual husband to all that i find creative, beautiful, talented, and truly freaky in every which way freaky is defined...
