Freamon's professional career began after leaving Detroit for New York City where he fronted notable funk and dance acts such as Funkguru, Poetic Babies and Amani 2000. Well aquainted with Amsterdam Freamon has also served as a vocalizing MC for local DJ's and producers that were fascinated by his rich soulful voice and incomparable styling.
