Camille Abordo

Fourteen year old Camille Abordo began singing at the age of 7. She performed at her first grade talent show and her teacher Mr. Bradshaw ran up to her on the stage, bowed down to her and took all the credit for her singing talents. It was quite a funny sight. Soon after she tried out for American Juniors and made it to the semi finals. She then began studying voice with a great vocal coach, Billy Purnell. She studies hip hop dance with world renowned Shane Sparks (from So You Think You Can Dance) , and acting with Peter Story. She was in a commercial for Universal Nissan. In 2006, she began singing the nation anthem for the Los Angeles Angels and has since become a regular there.
In January 2007, Camille auditioned for NBC’s Showtime at the Apollo in Los Angeles and was immediately invited to perform on the show as their “Star of Tomorrow” which aired nationwide in early 2007. Camille also recently was in a commercial for the Gameshow Network which is presently airing and her picture was used as the book cover to the National Vocabulary Championship book online. Camille also recorded 3 original songs - Bye Bye, Make It Okay, and Not that Kinda Girl. Bye Bye is her first original song which she wrote. Camille was also on a full page layout on the April 2007 Issue of Inland Empire Magazine. She enjoys singing, acting and dancing.
