4. Keingz Ransom aka KR, Dallas, Texas: The talented quartet developed their skills by performing in several talent shows, clubs and sporting events throughout North Texas. If there was an audience to listen, KR was there. In 2004, Keingz Ransom won a singing contest sponsored by KKDA 104.5FM, the no. 1 urban radio station in Dallas. In addition, they have recorded a vocal morning spot that is in rotation between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. weekly. They have repeat performances at The University of Texas at Arlington, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. AlphaPlex Step Show, the largest step show in North Texas, and the nationally televised State Fair Classic Game between Prairie View A&M University and Grambling State University where they perform the National Anthem in front of more than 55,000 spectators and television audience.
