primer integrante de los macisos maria rosa a.k.a. la macisa empesando a bailar ala edad de los 5 anos,partisipando en los interscolares, partisipando en central america, en la secundaria partisipando en el cine real en drama en una actuasion baile folkorica, de guatemala.tambien preformando con mi maestro de musica en el baile de charleton el cual fue un exito y en todo lo que pude partisipe mi sueno era llegar a preformar y alegrar corazones y ala misma vez tener muchos amigos, porque desde que era muy chica tuve la vision de unir a todos los seres humanos. bajo slo un cielo. donde solo exista amor paz y respeto despues por razones fuera de mi voluntad tuve que vijar a canada con mis hijos . uno de nueve meses y el otro de 1 y medio llegue a canada sin nada ,empesando de 0 en mis estudios no me puedo quejar porque canada me dio la oportunidad. de estudiar hasta optener 3 titulos. lo cual me permitieron ser parte de la mesa redonda. de la ciudad de hamilton,siendo parte the strengthening, hamilton,comunity initiative como lider comunitario.partisipando en cultura y regreasion ,poniendo la sonrisa de muchas personas latinas y de otras culturas,ganando el concurso de salsa, en julio 9 2005 en el consierto de don omar,ganando un vije a mexico. por 1 mes.el cual fue un regalo de dios . porque nos dio la opotunidad de preformar con varios artistas, nacionales y conoser diferentes bailes.y conoser la cultura mexicana.regresando de mexico la sorpresa que aviamos sido nominados en la categoria de baile latino.por artes de hamilton en 25 de nov 2005 lo cual es un honor. resiviendo tambien certificados de reconosimiento por el mayor de la ciudad larry.dilanni.el cual mostro su calidad humana subiendose ala tarima a bailar con nosotros,mi gratitud para el y su familia por el apoyo.ese es el impacto que los macisos asociados ent.causa cuando preformamos porque lo hacemos no por dinero si no con el corazon de hacer la diferencia.y alegrar corazones,y mientras dios me de vida seguire bailando al lado de mi familia,esa fue mi mision como mujer ensenarles la cultura latina,y al mismo tiempo ensenandolos a respetar a todo ser viviente en el planeta porque mis hijos son mi tesoro y son los que me an ayudado a salir adelante,juntos tuvimos la oportunidad de viajar a cuba,a conoser la cultura , y por supuesto bailando en muchas provisias. en diferentes carnavales agradesiendo a mi familia en cuba por darnos el apoyo.y en espesial a una persona que es mi fanatico numero 1 en pilon ganma.y al mismo tiempo a la ciudad de hamilton por la oprtunidad de poder representar a la ciudad como enbajadores de cultura nuestra mision es consietisar al mundo que la paz es nesesaria y cualquier clase de violencia tiene que parar.y que el respeto es urgente para poder hacer la diferencia porque un mundo mejor es posible si nos unimos orgullosa les presento a los macisos asociados ent.4 strong grasias a dios por estar donde estamos y que nos siga protejiendo de las malas espinas que ay en el camino peace

HOLA,MY NAME IS C**LOS E. M****A A.K.A. EL CHIVO CHINGON OR FOR THE LADIES CHIVO SINGON (lol) I WAS BORN ON MARCH OF '82, IN GUATEMALA CITY,ROSSBELL HOSPITAL. AT 11:00PM AND FROM THEM I WOULD ALWAYS BE A NIGHT PERSON.I ONLY HAD A YEAR AND A HALF WHEN MY FAMILY AND I HAD TO BE MOVED AND PLACED IN A FORGIEN COUNTRY NOT KNOWING THE OUT COMES THAT WOULD TAKE PLACE.NOT KNOWING ANYTHING ABOUT THE COUNTRY, CUSTOMS OR WAYS OF LIVING.WE AS A FAMILY HELD ON TO EACH OTHER CAUSE WE HAVE NO OTHER FAMILY IN CANADA,AT THE TIME THERE WAS FOUR BUT NOT THE FANTASTIC 4 THAT WE ARE TODAY. AT THE TIME A WEIGHT WAS HOLDING US DOWN. BUT THATS A NOTHER STORY TO TELL.WE ENDED UP IN TORONTO,THATS LIKE HANDING OVER A SHEEP TO A PACK OF WOLVES.BUT LUCKY FOR US MY MOM HAD STREET SMARTS FROM GUATEMALA, IF YOU CAN HOLD IT DOWN IN GUATE, YOU CAN HOLD IT DOWN ANYWHERE. GROWING UP IN A LATIN HOME I WAS EXPOSED TO LATIN MUSIC AT A EARLY AGE(SALSA,MAMBO,BACHATA,MERENGUE AND ROCK IN ESPANOL) AS A KID I LOVED LIVING IN T.O., MY SISTER AND I HAD SO MANY FRIENDS CAUSE EVERY BIRTHDAY MY MOM WOULD SHOW UP WITH A CAKE,POP,COOKIES AND A PINATA TO TOP IT OFF.BUT MY MOM WAS WORKING DAY IN AND DAY OUT TO KEEP FOOD ON THE TABLE. THAT HAPPENED FOR ABOUT FIVE TO SIX YEARS, TILL WE MOVED TO STEEL CITY IN ? (HAMILTON) STARTING OVER IS EASIER SAID THEN DONE.NEW SHCOOL, NEW BLOCK, NEW EVERY THING.BUT MY MUSIC STAYED THE SAME. SO I BLOCKED EVRYTHING NAGATIVE IN MY LIFE AT TIME, AND GOT CLOSER TO MY MOM AND LITTLE SISTER.THE LUMBADA WAS THE VERY FIRST DANCE ROUTINE I LEARNED,I WAS PRETTY GOOD AT IT.(IMAGEN A FAT KID DANCING LA LAMBADA, I EVEN LAUGH AT THAT. BUT THAT WAS ME)I WAS 7 YEARS OLD AT THAT TIME.FROM THEN EVERY TIME I HEARD MUSIC PLAYING I WOULD BUST A MOVE EVEN IF IT WAS IN THE MALL OR A STORE. AT 17 YEARS,MY FIRST TIME IN A TORONTO CLUB WAS AMAZING. I REMEMBER WHEN I TOUCHED THE DANCE FLOOR I KNEW THAT DANCING WAS GOING TO BE MY LIFE, NOT AS A MONEY MAKER BUT AS A WAY TO GET FREE. A LOT OF GIRLS HAVE COME AND GONE,BECAUSE THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND THAT MY MUSIC AND DANCING,THOSE TWO THINGS ARE MY "WIFIE"..............

WHATZ UP!!! my name is Monica A.K.A IX CHEL but most people just call me MON(and NO, it doesn't mean Monday). I was born in Guatemala on October 1983.I was the princess in the family and would almost get everything I wanted.I was shy and quiet and my favorite thing to do,was to play with my brother or fight over the remote.Im still kinda quiet, just cause I like to chill and listen to what is going on but I will speak my mind when needed.My mom has been the leader of the family and she is the only one that gives the final OK.I am the manager of LOS MACISOS ASOCIADOS ENT.I am also the person who takes the picture and the video at most of our events.I kinda know how to dance but am a little rusty since I really don't go out any more.The first time I went to a night club, I was only 15.I would dance for a little while and for the rest of the night I would sit and watch my mom and brother take over the dance floor.That is the only thing I miss from going out, not being able to see them dance so amazing.I still get to watch them practice and perform on stage but it's different, its hard to explain but it just seems more free.(you just need to see them to understand).I have a little girl and she is what keeps me going everyday.Ever since she was born we would dance with her in our arm and when she was able to walk she took over.My daugther CHI CHI joined them on stage about 2 years ago and I am so proud of her. She is the light of my life and just the thought of knowing that she loves to dance with her uncle and grandmother on stage is amazing.I give thanks to God for keeping us so together, 4 strong forever

HI!!! MY NAME IS GABRIELA A.K.A LA CHI CHI. I WAS BORN ON OCTOBER OF '03 AND HAVE BEEN DANCING SINCE I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO WALK. I WAS ONLY A YEAR AND A HALF WHEN I FIRST PERFORMED. I GOT UP ON STAGE WHEN MY CREW WAS PERFORMING AND EVER SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN DANCING BY THERE SIDE. WHEN YOU FIRST MEET ME I MAYBE A LITTLE SHY AND EVEN PRETEND TO BE SLEEPING BUT AS SOON AS I HEAR THE MUSIC,THE DANCE FLOOR IS MY STAGE.I LOVE TO DANCE!!!!!!!
