Hi my name is Samuel Garcia known by most of my friends and fans as MC Puppet. I was born in Guatemala City and arrived in Canada via Mexico at a young age. For all who ask, I am a Guatemalan-Mexican Mix (Guata-Mex), so now you know where I get my latin flavor from.Though young, I had this dream of some day becoming a singer.After reaching adulthood, I became a professional latin dance instructor, and became involved with latin music as a singer and DJ.In 1999, I was approached by a friend who was an artist at the time and together we formed a latin hip-hop group called DM2 which was headed by my good friend Digydon. We began writing songs and performing at local clubs and Latin community events throughout Toronto.My strong network of close friends who included Alex Bello, Ricky Franco, JP, Gabo, Digydon, and many other great friends and fans grew as my music was heard. I developed strong links and contacts as a dance instructor which led me to be invited to many social events.Soon after it became very evident to all that I had a talent to hype the crowds and keep them entertained througout a show with relative ease, that I was being invited regularly to many parties and shows to be The Master Of Ceremonies (MC).In 2004, I started recording music with some friends and had the opportunity to collaborate with many local artists in a variety of latin genres. One of these artists was my good friend and up coming artist Alex Bello. We recorded Amor Mio together and the song has taken Alex to greener pastures and fame.Shortly afterwards, feeling limited and struggling with a need to express my individuality, I began recording solo and wrote the songs I have here on myspace.com titled: Solo Vivo Por Ti ft. Gabo, Mujer Perdoname ft. Gabo, Dame Tu Amor ft. Gabo and Echate Pa'Ca morena.I recorded these songs in a romantic style to show how I respect and love women worldwide. I refuse to use my talents and the reggaeton genre to put down women, or to say derrogatory things about them.I love and respect my mother and my sisters. So I decided to respect every mother and sister out there. I dedicate my love and my music to all women in the world and hope you all can enjoy it.I'm dedicated to bringing Reggaeton to a new level in Toronto, Canada and internationally. My motivation and creativity caught the eye of some friends here in Canada, and soon after I signed Roberto Clemente from Capital Punishment Records in San Diego, California to be my manager.I'm now part of Capital Punishment Records based out of San Diego, and hope that soon the world will know who MC Puppet "The Original MC" is..........................................................
