Raychil was born in NEW YORK CITY, while there she lived in the Lower East Side better known as alphabet city. Raychil was born with a twin brother but only she survived. She demonstrated tremendous strength since birth. Her mom decided to spell her name "R a y c h i l" instead of the traditional Rachel, because she felt that Raychil was unique. And unique she would be. Raychil loved to sing from the very begining. As a child, it was evident that she would have a very special voice. Tiny as she was, she would sing out strongly leaving everyone shocked at how she sounded. Her talent was obvious. Once when she was about 3 or 4 years old, while having chicken wings with her mom in a Miami Hooters Restaurant, she began to sing into a toy microphone all the songs that were being played on the radio. The restaurant manger came over with the waitress to compliment her as everyone observed her. Two minutes later the manger returned and gave her an official Hooter's T-Shirt that said, "Baby Hooter."Time went on and she moved to Puerto Rico with her family still very young. There she became interested in the Reggaeton artists and their music. Being timid and shy, even though she circulated the music environment and had an amazing voice, she never dared to sing.In 2002 she was able to perform live, with a good family friend at a private event at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Dorado Del Mar. It was there where she first felt the excitment and euphoria of people applauding for her. It was a positive and meaningful experiance for her, but she still remained timid.In 2007, she was given an opportunity she would never forget. Raychil was given the chance to open the Valentine's Reggaeton Concert in the new Arecibo Coliseum in PR. That was a concert where all the current and well known reggaeton artist would perform. Everyone from Divino, Alexis y Fido, Jowel & Randy, Miguelito, to Arcangel performed that night. Not only was she the only unknown artist, but she was also the only female artist who in addition to singing with no chorus, had no dancers on stage either. Yet, she was able to deliver an impressive performance. She commanded the stage and the audience and even had them singing with her. Till this day she feels overwhelmed when she remembers how the audience received her and applauded her. From there, she began to sing in different island and private events. She has sung everywhere from the Arecibo Coliseum, the Acropolis of Manati, to the Amphiteatro Tito Puente and some.Raychil not only sings, but she also writes her own lyrics. She plays her guitar and keyboard discovering new rythms to write to. Her songs have been officially registered at the State Department accordingly, "created by Raychil with all rights reserved".Although she entered through Reggaeton events, she demonstrated her ablility to cross over into any music type. She can master anything from R&B, Hip Hop, Romantic Reggaeton, Latin, Pop and anyother type/style she attempts. Humbly, Raychil has become known as a new talent who's music is not only entertaining to dance to but also to listen to. She has transformed into a respected young artist whom people lovingly call "La Voz Angelical" which means "The Angelical Voice". It has been said that she comes enlightening any style she participates in. Comments are, that Raychil is,"La que faltaba" which means she is what the industry was missing!!Raychil gives all credit to GOD, for haven been given a gifted voice. She credits her influences to the artists of the various types of music she participates in. She adds her unique touch and style to everything she does, being writing, singing her own songs or interpreting other peoples work. Raychil thanks God for the wonderful family he has given her. Especially for her mom, who has been instrumental in her achievements and success. Her mom has definitely been the strong back bone throughout the whole musical journey. Presently she has been accepted in two chorus' of The Universtiy of Puerto Rico as a Soprano 1. She is in the all female choir and also in the elite choir called "El Coro De Camara" which is coed. The Coro de Camara performs in very special occasions and has even traveled to other countries to perform.
