I'm sure that I'm gonna watch Twin Peaks and some of those old alfred Hitchcock shows again now that they are coming out all together in a DVD collection.Other than that, the parts of The Buying of the War I saw - the Bill Moyers PBS special- were really good, as well Ken Burns' The War.The Wire proves there ain't no good guys or bad guys - just ciecumstance, consequence, peace of mind and perspective.I am inexplicably distracted by Lost - though it is starting to make me feel like a rat in a cheeseless odyssey- i still say it is so purgatory....sorry, wrong homer.most of the time i watch something from Netflix that I rented or movies on Sundance or IFC,re-runs of Northern Exposure,Austin City Limits, Adult Swim or old cartoons (* see breakfast Club - Z Trip), the occasional boxing, wrestling or Pride or UFC fight,or the beginning part of Conan O' Brien or SportsCenter.

my mom and dad were the oldest kids from a family of nine and ten respectively. both lost their parents when they were just in their twenties and helped raise the rest of their brothers and sisters in hawaii during some times that were pretty tough.both of them were in social work, educators and legal aid all their working lives.they are my heroes.
