Casey Burns : born in Hendersonville, NC, in 1975. Lived in Chapel Hill and Carrboro, NC, from 1993 to 2006. Responsible for a ton of stuff. Played bass in The Nein, Gold Chainz, Soundtrack. Worked for Frank Heath at Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, NC, from 1996 to 2006, more or less. Made a ton of posters and designed a ton of records. Also served several tons of burritos to the masses at Lizard and Snake Cafe and the Burrito Bunker back in the day. Served quite a few pizzas at Pepper's, as well. Morehead Scholar at the University of North Carolina, class of 1998. Journalism Degree. Eagle Scout. Grammar nerd. Aware of the rules as I break them in the name of style. Base of operations currently Portland, OR. Wearer of many hats, none of which are visible. Maker of choices. Big fan of the big picture. Can appreciate a microcosm from arm's length. Go Heels.
