Band Members: Laura Birdsong writes and sings the songs. She showcases her fingerpicking style as well as playing rhythm on her most prized possession, her custom koa Santa Cruz acoustic guitar.
Bru Rossman is the lead 6 and 12 string acoustic guitarist and part time bass player, contributing artist/arranger, and background vocalist.
Mike Ferrara is the go to and reliable bass man. He also contributes leads on electric and pedal steel guitar, and background vocals. He gives sound advice and helps with arranging.
Joe Ribaudo is the drummer/percussionist. He adds background vocals and lots of experience on guitar, bass and production methods.
Billy Karcher, the newest member of the project, is another multi-talented multi-instrumentalist. His electric leads have brought us up a notch and his mandolin keeps us tied to our wooden roots. He also fills in on bass and blues harp. His presence brings it to the next level.
The Birdsong Project has an array of incredibly talented friends that will come and go on stage and on the record, which is currently in the early stages of production.

Influences: Birdsong has been influenced by every sound she's heard or imagined. Growing up in the sixties, The Beatles provided more influence than anything, but, the folk revival of that era was also an undeniable force.
