DJ Myke Smith

Myke Smith is making some big waves in the UK club scene Since establishing himself as a resident and promoter of the successful club outfit "Dex In The City", Myke has won a legion of fans with his technical ability and tune selection, which straddles house, minimal and techno.
Legendary sets at the Boiler Room and The Factory (Medicine Bar) in Birmingham have earned him gigs all over the UK and Europe for nights such as Godskitchen and The Gallery.
Production is high on the agenda for Myke in 2007 and has been concentrating on this more than djing, with a collaboration with Paul Thomas already in mid flow and thier latest promo track titled "The Grudge" has been signed up to a major record label "Baroque Records" and is already being donned by International DJ's and producers Funkagenda, Mark Knight (Toolroom Records), Riley & Durrant - who played it across the Galaxy network and Bodyrox - who played it on thier Radio 1 Essential Mix, its proving to be a hit with many dj's and is looking to be released early 2008.
Further collaborations with Paul Thomas are already in the pipeline for early next year where they have plans for compiling an E.P. At the moment Myke is curently in the process of doing some re-edits of high profile producers such as Apparat, Green Velvet & Josh wink hoping to be finished in early 2008, alongside these projects he is also making some original exciting new stuff due out on promo before xmas 2007.
