Allgood & Biglove is the sum of Chris and Rye. They first blended their soulful, funky, jackin house music together back-to-back after playing seperate sets at a student night at Henry J Beans, Broad Street, Birmingham in 2002. After spinning at the night for some time, they got a little bit upside down and decided to play back-to-back, needless to say they have been doin both ever since!!!!!
In May of 2003 they started their own weekly night Twisted where they built up big crowds and a strong following. From here they started getting bookings to play in a number of local bars in the area, then in October 2003 secured a weekly Friday night residency at Revolution, Broad Street, Birmingham where they ruled the turntables for 7 months until new management changed the music policy.
Allgood & Biglove have been regulars at Miss Moneypennys, Birmingham since 2004 where they have played alongside the likes of Ron Carroll, John Kelly, Spiller, Brandon Block, K-Klass, Jeremy Healey, John Constantine (Kuja Dada), Freemasons and the legendary Jim ..Shaft.. Ryan at the HQ venue.
The boys have also recently been made Birmingham residents for the little lady and are currently touring with her across the UK.
Other venues where these crayzee cats are on deck duty include Godskitchen, Birmingham where they have been spinning since their debut on 22nd October 2004 and with regular slots at Fuel @ Bambu and previously at the legendry Blend @ The Gatehouse(Derby) plus bookings at many other bars/clubs all over Birmingham,the future is looking bright for these two lads!!!
Summer 2006 saw the guys playing out for the first time abroad, in the ..clubbing capital.. of the world..........IBIZA!!!!! They were on deck duty for Miss Moneypennys @ El Divino, Plastic and the Orange Corner. The boys also performed a live mix on SS Radio!!!!!
Chris and Rye have recently returned from the white isle after there second tour of the magical place that is Ibiza where once again they represented her very sexy self.......Miss Moneypenny @ El Divino which this year has linked up with Fashion T.V......check out the vids below!!!
