We are "2amFunk" better know to everyone as Ade (YoAdrian to some) and Al.We have know eachother since school and have been dj's for 10 years starting out playing hard house and trance paying homage on a regular basis to GOD aka Paul Van Dyk.
We forged a dj partnership about 5 years ago while i was a resident and co-promoter of sucessful monthly sunday night house shindig "Comedown Sunday" at Maya along with our mates ands other co-promoters Potty and Rouge Lj which ran for 18 months and amazingly got a feature in Mixmag. We started to build a strong following with up for it party people until because of someone it went belly up (IF YOU ARE READING THIS YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE C**T!!!)Through the succes of "Comedown Sunday" we also got a mid-week residency at Maya and started up another night next door at PJ's this time on a Thursday night which we christened "Funktion". Then got a monthly residency playing for "Twisted" at the Toad in Stourbridge rubbing shoulders with the next generation of superstar dj's Funkagenda and Paul Thomas. We were then invited to play as guests at a number of other venues such as the City Bar and Cuban Exchange in Wolverhampton. So-Bar, Changes and Wobble in Birmingham. The Toad, Mitre and Rock Cafe in Stourbridge. Rhuma and Eclipse Waterfront/Brierley hill and Elements in Blackheath.For the last year and a bit we have shared a residency with Moneypennies legend and good pal Biglove at Bar South in Kingswinford at quality house night "Sublime" where you can catch us every other Friday night from 8pm till 2am playing "DeepSoulfulJackinFunkyUpliftingVocalBouncyElectroHouse"
