T-Bird's career began in 1990 at Los Angeles "boutique collective" Fred Segal, known for its celebrity clientele and its ability to forecast West Coast style since 1960. Residencies at Los Angeles acid-jazz staple Internationalist and his own night, Jazzid Up!, soon followed.Over the years, T-Bird has played high-profile shows at LA hot spots The Knitting Factory, The Room, Star Shoes, Air Conditioned, Ivar, King King, The Park Plaza Hotel and Zanzibar.2005 found him focused on expanding the "T-Bird sound" to an international audience, with Barcelona quickly becoming his second home. Finding his style translated "better than I could have imagined," his introduction to Spanish audiences came from "beautiful and enthusiastic" crowds at Bongo Lounge (held at La Paloma), Oven & Buda Bar in Barcelona, and Mandela in Sitges.Taking the knowledge and contacts made from his first international dates, he immediately came back to Los Angeles, planning his next trip. In January of 2006, T-Bird returned to Bongo Lounge for their pre-Reyes "Kings of Funk" night for over 2,000 party people.Determined to visit "at least one new country" on his next trip he used the networking site Tribe.net, he formed relationships with Swiss DJs and promoters, staying a week and playing for the first time in venues Pooc in Biel/Bienne, Grenzwert in Basel and Aaah! Club in Zurich. In the States, T-Bird has maintained residencies at Something Else! @ The Brig, Soul Heaven @ Arsenal Bar & Restaurant, and Cookin', the night that laid the foundation for Los Angeles' first and only 2-Step/UK Garage weekly and DJ crew, Pull. He's also well travelled in the US. In recent years, T-Bird has appeared in many major US Markets including -New York City - Wikkid! (@ Guernica), Halcyon, Opaline, White Rabbit, and Drive-By ; Las Vegas - The Venetian and The Hilton ; San Francisco - Museum of the African Diaspora, Club Cocomo and Oxygen Sushi & Sake Lounge; Miami - The Leslie Hotel (Winter Music Conference 2002 ) San Diego - Beanie's LoungeIn addition, T-Bird has played beside DJ greats Mark Rae, Marques Wyatt, Swedish Egil, The Dope Bros. (Professor Angel Dust & De Lippo,) Mark Hill of Artful Dodger and Nickodemus of Turntables on the Hudson.2006 found him working on his original productions (with tunes already being utilized by Microsoft and MTV & for sale at Karma Download), along with a radio show, "Something Else!" currently being Podcast. In 2007 he finally made the leap "across the pond" and relocated to Barcelona, Spain. Within a month of his move he added several new venues to his list of places played and even had a summer residency at Pacha's newest club--Sweet Pacha in Aiguadolc (Port of Sitges.) New venues for T-Bird include: The ORIGINAL Pacha Sitges, Hotel Calipolis Lounge, Acqua, Alberto Beach, El Cafe De La Plata & The Room. In addition to new residencies at the previous two venues he also returns to his residency at Torre Rosa. What the musical future holds is never certain, but T-Bird's plans include lots of recording (both remixes and original material,) touring and enjoying his new digs in Spain.
