Music:

Broken beat (West London sound), Nu-jazz, Afrobeat, Soulful House, Disco, Neo-Soul, Jazz (fusion especially), Funk.

Movies:

The Godfather (I and II); the English Patient; The Good, the Bad and the Ugly; Enter the Dragon; Blackbelt Jones; Million Dollar Baby; Dirty Harry series. Too many to mention.

Television:

HBO's "The Wire", "Curb Your Enthusiasm", and "Oz." On a comedy level, nothing tops the Black Adder series (not currently on tv anymore in UK and certainly not on TV here in the US). Don't really watch much TV though -- too busy with everything else in my life.

Books:

My father and countless others that demonstrate the qualities of intelligence, energy, focus, consistency, dedication, heart and kindness, without pomp or arrogance.
