Brilliant king or flagrant pillock ... the decision is yours

About Me

Love is everything. Music is everything. Bollocks are something. Football is everything. Soccer, not the other kind. I'm already in my mid-40s which is a fantastic age. I love the whole concept of things and people. March to my own drummer but not to the point of being obnoxious (any more). Still, group think is pathetic and if have a mind of your own in addition to being a cool person you'll score mega points with me. You will score even more if on top of that you have a bitingly sarcastic wit and politically incorrect sense of humor. There's a good chance you will too if you're a musician, zen master, comedian, pilot, traveler, philosopher, dalek, artist, gourmet, adventurer, technology geek, entrepreneur, a knight who says "ni", someone with goals and high standards in life, or on the path to being any of those things. Everything is sacred, but nothing and nobody are too sacred to be laughed about. Karma is for real, but I don't mean the kind where you come back as an inflated arseless hamster if you haven't eaten vegan and chanted all the right mantras. I don't "not eat" anything except capers and thousand year eggs, and that's because I hate them. I play keyboards and write music, semi-professionally on and off. I'm learning to speak Mandarin (ni hao) what a lyrical and complicated language that is. I've been all over the world. I've been inside my own mind. Did I mention that music is everything. I can't stand incompetence or people being stuck up or intolerant. I can fly airplanes. I'm not liberal and I'm not conservative ... don't like politics at all as 90% of it is just another form of wanking. I always vote though. I can't stand it when people victimize other people, and I can't stand it when people act like victims. Live and let live. Come on we can all do it. We're all leaves on the same tree for !@#$ sake. I've lived in the USA, England, Singapore and the UAE, and spent a serious piece of my life crossing various oceans and continents. So I have no idea where I'm from any more, which is a good thing I think. People create their own destiny ... mostly ... but there is that mysterious element too. I hate any kind of "ism" and any kind of phoniness. Courtesy from the heart or not at all. You can never force me to respect you. I'm meticulous. I don't like hip hop, although I might be starting to warm up to it ... stay tuned. I'm enthralled with life. I'm a bundle of contradictions. I don't have a problem with that. I drive fast. I believe in myself. I vanquish the shadow by embracing it. I found a giant potato bug in my bed a couple of years ago and remain traumatized to this day. I have two fantastic daughters who have MySpace profiles and they don't even know I do. Ha. Some of my best friends are French.
