Blending the best of raw garage rock and well crafted power pop, Bazooka Jones has created a deliberately trashy form of rock & roll that is proud of its own disposability. The songs are catchy as a cold and the sound is fat and crunchy.

I'm into music, singing, silliness, making things, sewing, all things old, birds and furry animals. I dig gnarly looking horses with shaggy-haired pasterns, Norsemen, and Celts.

Anyone with a good sense of humor. Sharing a belly laugh is a beautiful thing! People that think for themselves and dare to be different, even if other people don't get it. People that Get It! Rick Mercer, Bob Newhart, Groucho Marx, Moe'pick a finger'Howard, Herman Munster. Jane Goodall, Bruce Lee, Ronald Reagan, Saint Bernadette, Bob Barker, Vanessa Williams, Brett Hull, and Gandalf.

Music:

I am a sucker for straight-up guitar driven Rock and Roll, but I also dig traditional music, rhythm and blues/rock, punk,glam,and rockabilly. I like unique vocals and tight harmonies. Lightening fast solos with no soul bore me.(dont blow all your cookies at once!) I like guitar players with "swagger".

Movies:

Anything with great battle scenes! Fantasy, old world combat.... not big on techy sci-fi. Thirteenth Warrior, Unleashed, The Last Samurai(Ken Wantenabe is mesmerizing!), King Arthur, Hellboy, The Crow, RobbRoy, Braveheart, Gladiator, Lord of the Rings, Desperado, Martial Arts flicks. War of the Gargantuas, Cool Hand Luke, The Elephant Man, Slingblade,The Notebook. Slapshot, Mystery Alaska, and Miracle. Memiores of a Geisha. Comedies are always welcome and encouraged. Eating Raoul, The Jerk. The Birdcage/LaCage Aux Folles.Hedwig and the Angry Inch. 'Being There' w/ Peter Sellers is a masterpiece!'Drop Dead Fred' WAS my ALL TIME favorite, but 'Napoleon Dynomite' is just too brilliant for 2nd place.

Coronation Street. The Rick Mercer Report. Dexter. Ugly Betty. Anything forensic or medical. Court TV. American Chopper(Paul Sr.hubba-hubba!) King of Queens, The Wonder Years, Leave it to Beaver, Mr.Ed, Andy Griffith. And Green Hornet reruns!(Bruce Lee AND Van Williams,Yessss) I do miss 'Captain Kangaroo' and 'The Friendly Giant'. I always wanted to be Judy on 'Lost in Space' so I could hook up with Don.
