After Today
Should tomorrow fail to come
And dreams be woken in a tomb,
While mold emits a luminescent glow
That grows on rotting coffins --
Look to the pole and search for streamers,
Blown bleeding from the center
Of a collision course with fate,
Creating seldom-seen foxfires of red, green, blue and violence.
A million megawatts of potential fathered by the sun,
This burning nightmare is ending on that solar wind,
Drawn to the earth as it may be to its sisters,
It is in the north - the celestial dream begins.
