Musician, Film Composer, Producer

About Me

Moved to LA several years ago from Boulder, CO, I play piano and keyboards on all kinds of live gigs both locally and out of town and do studio sessions on albums and TV shows, either as a player or producer.
I write music for movies, TV, commercials, video games, corporate industrial films, instructional CDs and DVDs, movie trailers. You can hear me on Fox, TLC, UPN, Speed Channel, Showtime, Spike, NBC, and MTV. You can also hear me in the Action/Horror DVD sections of Blockbuster, Hollywood Video and Best Buy as a film composer.
I do all the music for the web comedy Powerloafing (produced and written by Emmy winning comedy writer Mike Upchurch). Right now Powerloafing can be seen at Superdeluxe.com I also released a CD of my own instrumental electronica in 1999 as Jonny G, available at amazon.com.
I'm here to network with my friends, other musicians, bands I like, producers and entertainers and to get more work writing music for film, TV and multimedia.

Sounds Like: Anything I can think up, get out of my head and onto tape, CD or a soundfile.

Spec demo (actually, a commercial audition test for me) for a music production company in San Diego. The spot had already been finished and broadcast with a different music track.

Rough edit of a film music demo reel made in 2003 of action/thriller/horror movies I've scored.

Powerloafing Computer Guy

Clip from a new movie coming out this year, "Killer Story." Music by JG. The audio track is a little out of sync with the video in this clip for some reason but you get the idea.
