My girl, she's the love of my life. This April we'll be married for 15yrs. and together for 18yrs. There's been alot of bumps in the road but things have gotten much better just this past year.
My next love is racing. I also like rebuilding cars and trucks, motors, and when we win the lottery (YEAH RIGHT) I wish to have my own business full time and say good riddens to those I work for now.
Also taking long ATV rides, A rockin party, backwoods road trips with a cooler of beer and a roudy bunch and a destination unknown. My computer, ebay, racing auctions. classic cars.
AND....Last October in 2007 me and my wife traveled to North Carolina to the Richard Petty Driving School at Lowes Motor Speedway. Although I've always raced on dirt, if you have the chance to do this, WOW!!! that's all I can say, it was a chance of a lifetime and did quite well. If not this year, we plan to do it agian, perhaps in 09'. My wife took the ride-along, 3 laps with a professional driver behind the wheel, although she's driven stick a time or two, she's a little hard on the clutch and such if you know what I mean, but she had a great time and could have road all day long, she's a little on the adrenalin junkie side, she'd have to, to put up with me and some of my family.
Not only was this experience great, but the area is great also. We've been to many cup races but Charolette is a beautiful area, also many of the cup drivers' workshops and garages are there to tour. One of the most amazing is the Hendricks museum type building with all the cars and those that have raced for Hendricks, along with trophies won, are displayed, also a full length window from top to bottom, a view into those working on all the cars being built. If things,(job wise) were to go awire where we live, Charolette is tops on the list to move to and work, perhaps in the back of my mind another "dream of a lifetime", but I've got the skills and know of someone that could put in a good word for me that works for a cup driver. We took a week's vacation, but to visit and enjoy everything, expect to take a good 3wks. Trust me it's worth it.
