other than that, i'm not really *looking* to meet anybody. i find that those who are worth my time have a tendency to cross paths with me at some point. but for when i do feel like being social here's the checklist:
intelligent people who have an open mind, and desire to experience all they can in this short existence.
people who live life to the fullest, and aren't concerned with drudging around in misery. i hate miserable people who do nothing but whine about their situation, and do nothing about it. i choose to surround myself with people who think positively, and inspire my own creativity, which enriches my life by having them around. i detest weakness, and don't suffer fools very well, so if you fit that don't bother.
people who do their own thing and don't let the fashions of the day dictate who they are. this world is full of clones, we don't need anymore. they say everyone marches to their own drummer. i march to a guitar.
people with a sense of humor, that can place themselves on the whoopee cushion from time to time. no lame asses with no sense of humor who cant enjoy some good dirty jokes now and again. yeah dry humor is good, but we all have to get stupid sometimes, so don't be afraid to.
people that don't follow the herd, have a desire to raise themselves up from the mass of mediocrity, and don't suck.
satanists, artists, other geeks, wrestlers, madmen, snow geisha, musicians, pranksters, practicing materialists, misanthropists, people that i can enjoy good chat over some sapporo with.
i truly hold close those whom i consider friends in the real world. there aren't many, and that's just the way i like it. quality over quantity.
i don't care if you add me before contacting me. after all, we have to start somewhere. but if you dont match any of the afore mentioned criteria, please fuck off. and people, for fuck's sake don't send me add requests if you have your shit private. you need to be screened prior to approval don't ya know.
regarding bands, i hate that i have to do it, but here it is. just because i like other musicians that play the same genre of music that you do does not mean i want to accept your band request. i only add bands that i truly support or whose members i actually *know*. consider this 'fair warning' so if you are not added, save yourself the time of sending me messages telling me i have no taste because i didn't add your band. they won't even be read.

i tend to read only non fiction, and when i do delve into fiction it's almost exclusively clive barker, h.p. lovecraft, ray bradbury, old anne rice (long before she started forgetting the history she created and rewriting practically everything), and a few other scattered authors. some favorites include: dracula (and anything about vlad dracula), cabal, beyond good and evil, do androids dream of electric sheep?, fahrenheit 451, paradise lost, the flowers of evil, ninjutsu: history and tradition, the antichrist, dress to kill, might is right, faust, the satanic bible, various texts regarding satanism, chaos magic, the left hand path, necromancy, incubi and succubi, kali, lillith, and other occult subjects. comics like devilman, swamp thing, faust: love of the damned, g.i. joe, the crow, from hell, beautiful stories for ugly children, hellboy, batman, spiderman, the punisher, x-men, violence jack, mao dante, satanika, 30 days of night. i keep up with one magazine and that's rue morgue. go pick it up now.
