My Interests

Writing, reading, listening to music, hanging out with my husband, going places I've never gone before and doing things I've never done before. Life interests me. My dogs and cats crack me up. I enjoy people watching/listening. There is no better joy than to hang out in a really cool restaurant and overhear conversations not meant for my ears but will inevitably end up in a poem or a story of mine.

I'd like to meet:

Fun people who love books and writing. People who are seekers of knowledege. You don't have to have any absolute Truths. Just be a seeker. I sometimes enjoy swimming around the murky waters of ambiguity. So if you aren't afraid of murky waters, jump in with me. Don't worry, I can't swim so well myself. I grew up in the rural south with a Mama who said, "Chile, stay out of the water until you learn how to swim." Let that marinade a moment before you move on.I also enjoy skydiving...free falling, chile. Every now and then I'll just haul off and jump off the cliff and land smack dab in the middle of a whole gaggle of possibilities. If you haven't ever tried, I seriously suggest you do. Don't worry about parachutes. Just jump! Let the wind smack you in the face, and by all means, DON'T CLOSE YOUR EYES--not even for a second. You don't want to miss a thing on the way down.Oh yes...yes...I almost forgot. Do you frequently change your mind...and in fact...do you sometimes change it in mid-thought? Oh, you are so welcome. Come on in, the water is fine. I promise not to judge you, try to change you, or point out any little minuscule flaws that I happen to catch out of the corner of my eye. Heck, I love flaws. Flaws are beautiful. You show me yours and I will definitely show you mine.
