"The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing."

~Albert Einstein

Know No Fear

Fear is the true root of all mishap.
A creator of victims,
that starts as
a small spark of insecurity.

Igniting our frame with the doubt
of ourselves and our abilities to manifest
that which is perfect for our growth,
it multiplies in our psyche.

Creating images many times
their actual size
blinding us to the vast possibilities
within our grasp.

We become fascinated
with fear's expansion
feeling fully
compelled to feed it.

Suddenly, fear becomes larger
than ourselves
and we are lost
within its grasp.

Better to live fearlessly.

Rip it from your heart deliberately.

Experience that eternal
moment of freedom
often mistaken for emptiness.
Allow love to flow in.

You'll never miss fear
once it's gone.

It is only the anticipation
of fear leaving
that begs it to stay.

Let it go........

Fear will lie to you in its quest for survival.

Fear is necessary only to itself.

See the truth.

When we clearly set an intention, our conscious and subconscious minds mobilize to help us meet that intention. At the start of each day, thoroughly review what commitments you have made to others for the day, and decide what commitment(s) you will make for yourself.

What can you do today that will move you one step closer to your personal goals? Own your power to choose to meet your own needs. After all, we are much better able to help others when our own needs are met. And at the end of the day, when you've honored your commitment to yourself, acknowledge your success.

"Most people are so busy knocking themselves out trying to do everything they think they should do, they never get around to do what they want to do."

Go placidly amid the noise and haste,
and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender
be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly;
and listen to others,
even the dull and the ignorant;
they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons,
they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others,
you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Keep interested in your own career, however humble;
it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs;
for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is;
many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be cynical about love;
for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment
it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years,
gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe,
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God,
whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations,
in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.

With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams,
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy.

-Max Ehrmann, Desiderata

If you have one goal,
and that was to feel good,
you would never again
need to hear
another word from anyone.

You would live
successfully and happily
and in a way of fulfilling
your life's purpose ever after.

-Abraham Hicks Success You can start at any time if you want to be successful. But you have to start.

You won't accomplish anything if you wait for all the possible objections to be overcome. Taking a new step, uttering a new word, is what people fear most.

Don't be afraid to live. Don't wait for things to change. Don't wait until you have more time, until you are less tired, until you get the promotion, until you settle down, until, until, until. Don't wait for a major event in your life to occur before you begin to live.

Begin where you are. Work where you are. The hour you are wasting now, dreaming of some far off success, is crowded with tremendous possibilities.

When you take the first step, your mind will mobilize all its forces to assist you. Once you have started, all that is within you and unknown forces around you will come to your assistance.

The only way to start down the road to success is to move your feet, one step at a time. Success is waiting for you.

This is who I am. I give myself permission to be a spiritual warrior, speak from the heart create, & feel good. I give myself permission to step beyond the limits of my beliefs that hold be back in my career success. Stand in your truth & be free. Speak these words & feel them in your heart.

-Terri Amos

Time

Imagine there is a bank that credits your account each morning with $86,400.

Every evening whatever part of the balance you fail to use during the day is deleted.

What would you do? Draw out every cent and use it well, of course!!!

Each of us has such a bank - Its name is TIME. Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds.

Invest the day's deposits well, or the loss is yours. How could you bring the most contentment, happiness and benefit to yourself and others?

The clock is running.

Create your future from your future, not your past.

The great spiritual practitioners are those who have made a pledge, or developed the determination, to eradicate all of their negative states of mind in order to help to bring the ultimate happiness to all sentient beings.

-Dalai Lama

EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON

There are people who will come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there...To serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who YOU are and who YOU want to become. You never know who these people may be, but when you lock eyes with them, you know at that very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way. And sometimes things happens to you, and at the time they may seem horrible, painful and unfair, but in reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized YOUR potential, strength, will power or heart. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of our soul. Without these small tests, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere; safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless. The people you meet affect your life and you affect theirs. The successes and downfalls that you experience can create who you are, and the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact, they are probably the most poignant and important ones. If someone hurts you, betrays you, or breaks your heart, forgive them because they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart to. If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love and open your heart and eyes to the little things.

Make EVERY day count!

Appreciate every moment and take from it everything you possibly can, for you may NEVER be able to experience it again. Talk with people you have never talked with before, and actually listen. Let yourself fall in love, break free and set your sights high. Hold your head up, you have every right to. Go look in the mirror and recognize that YOU are the greatest gift, BELIEVE in yourself, If you don't nobody else will.

~unknown~

CREATE YOUR OWN LIFE, NOW GO OUT AND LIVE IT!

Remember that just because the form of your love for another may change...the essence NEVER does.I love you!

To Be Hopeful...

To be hopeful in bad times is not just foolishly romantic. It is based on the fact that human history is a history not only of cruelty but also of compassion, sacrifice, courage, kindness.

What we choose to emphasize in this complex history will determine our lives. If we see only the worst, it destroys our capacity to do something. If we remember those times and places – and there are so many – where people have behaved magnificently, this gives us the energy to act, and at least the possibility of sending this spinning top of a world in a different direction.

And if we do act, in however small a way, we don’t have to wait for some grand utopian future. The future is an infinite succession of presents, and to live now as we think human beings should live, in defiance of all that is bad around us, is itself a marvelous victory.

-Howard Zinn

Give to the world the best you have, and the best will come back to you.

Attitude

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than success, than what other people think, say or do. It is more important than appearance, gift, or skill. It will make or break a company...a church...a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... The only thing we can do is play on the string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our attitudes.

~Grounding~

Grounding .....the act of linking with the earth energies is known as grounding. It can be done by visualizing yourself as a tree with roots coming out of your feet and down in to the Mother earth making a connection with earth's core. It provides stability if you feel insecure, anxious or angry, or it can be used before and after carrying out psychic work of any kind, channeling higher energies or healing work to root yourself in the real world again. Grounding is essential in any kind of spiritual work. You will find it enormously helpful in your everyday life too.

-Karen Karma

Guilt

If we don't forgive ourselves for our mistakes and others for the wounds they have inflicted upon us, we end up crippled with guilt. And the soul cannot grow under a blanket of guilt, because guilt is isolating, while growth is a gradual process of reconnection to ourselves, to other people, and to a larger whole.

-Joan Borysenko

I have learned over the years that when one's mind is made up, this diminishes fear; knowing what must be done does away with fear.

-Rosa Parks

Clouds of Doubt

When things go wrong as they sometimes will;

When the road you're trudging seems all uphill;

When the funds are low, and the debts are high;

And you want to smile, but have to sigh;

When care is pressing you down quite a bit -

Rest if you must, but do not quit.

Success is failure turned inside out;

The silver tint of the clouds of doubt;

And you can never tell how close you are;

It may be near when it seems so far;

So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -

It's when things go wrong that you must not quit.

-Chelle

From this point on, your life is up to you. In each and every moment that is to come, you are free to choose your thoughts, your feelings, your actions and your attitude.

Each indecision brings its own delays and days are lost lamenting over lost days... What you can do or think you can do, begin it. For boldness has magic, power, and genius in it.

-Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Time is Life. So stop wasting your time, with that, your life. Go where you want to be, do what you want to do, and be who you want to be!

Should You

Should you have a bad day at work; Think of the man who has been out of work for years.

Should you despair over a relationship gone bad; Think of the person who has never known what it's like to love and be loved in return.

Should you grieve the passing of another weekend; Think of the woman in dire straits, working twelve hours a day, seven days a week to feed her children.

Should your car break down, leaving you miles away from assistance; Think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity to take that walk.

Should you notice a new gray hair in the mirror; Think of the cancer patient in chemo who wishes she had hair to examine.

Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what is life all about, asking what is my purpose? Be thankful. There are those who didn't live long enough to get the opportunity.

Should you find yourself the victim of other people's bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities; Remember, things could be worse. You could be one of them!

Mind Limits

You can have anything on earth that you want, once you mentally accept the fact that you can have it.

If you want to be successful, begin by thinking of yourself as being successful. The feeling of being successful has to come first. If you have a deep inner conviction that you will always have all that you need, if you actually feel prosperous, it will be so.

The only thing that stands between you and what you want from life is simply the will to pursue it and the faith to believe that it is possible.

Only your mind sets your limits.

Your only limitations are those you set up in your mind, or permit others to set up for you. -Og Mandino The Four Agreements

Agreement 1

Be impeccable with your word - Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.

Agreement 2

Don’t take anything personally - Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.

Agreement 3

Don’t make assumptions - Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

Agreement 4

-Don Miguel Ruiz

Always do your best - Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret.

If you feel overwhelmed by your emotions, begin writing affirmations such as, "The universe is working in perfect harmony. Everything happens for my higher good. I now see a universe of beauty and perfection." Flood your mind with a voice that says, "Things are positive, things are working in my favor, all is order and harmony." The more you fill your mind with positive thoughts, the more you will turn down the volume of any negative emotions.

-Personal Power Through Awareness

Smile :o)

You've got to get up every morning with a smile on your face, And show the world all the love in your heart, Then people gonna treat you better. You're gonna find, yes, you will, That you're beautiful, as you feel.

-Carole King

Dreams

You are never given a wish without also being given the power to make it come true.

The achievement of your goal is assured the moment you commit yourself to it. If you have the desire, you have the power to attain it.

You can have anything you want in life if you will sacrifice everything else for it. Your dreams can come true if you pursue them.

Where there's a will, there's a way.

Your dreams can come true!
