Team Freewalk was established on February 6, 2006. It started out as a small team of 3, with ambitions of just making the minimum $2,200.00 per each walker, and making it through the 60 miles in November. We ended up raising more than $112,000.00 in 2006 and we all had a TOTAL blast during the event in November.Team Freewalk is doing it AGAIN. We are already registered for the Arizona 2007 walk, November 2, 3, and 4th. We are planning a fun filled year of fundraisers and training walks to prepare for the event. All proceeds we make for the Breast Cancer 3-Day, will be benefitting the Susan G. Komen Foundation and the National Philanthropic Trust Fund.Team Freewalk is a registered team for the Breast Cancer 3-Day, in which thousands of women and men will unite in cities across the country and walk 60 miles over the course of three days. It's a weekend of hope, as we honor lives lost, celebrate survivors, promote breast cancer research, and help bring breast cancer care to those who so desperately need it.Net proceeds from the Breast Cancer 3-Days benefit the Susan G. Team Freewalk is accepting team members who want to join us in this amazing journey, who wants to help raise money, and walk 60 miles, and ultimately help eradicate breast cancer... I'd like to meet anyone and everyone who is interested in the fight against breast cancer. Eradication is our ultimate goal... But until that happens, education and awareness is key... And walking 60 miles to help raise money is vital!!!

98.7 The Peak radio station. Mary Reilly, 10am to 3pm dj, is Team Freewalk's honorary chairperson/team member. She decided to adopt Team Freewalk and help us get this important word out about the Breast Cancer 3-Day.
