Copy Righted 2004 By Wendy Fox "The Angel of Hope was inspired by those of you fighting the war to refind freedom. Also, it was inspired by those of us fighting WAR against Cancer. I was a patient on Ward 57 (at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC) for 3 months in 1983, when I had surgery on a rare tumor on my knee. My leg was spared and so was my life.( I was only 29 at the Time.) In the mid nineties I had numerous Surgeries on my leg due to affects of Cancer Treatments. Miraculously my leg was spared again..........." It was never finished. My mom was then diagnosed in 2003 with Breast Cancer. She fought it hard and strong....She is our Angel of Hope!
