So 4 Brisbane boys decided to put together a band that played solely Kyuss songs(and a few songs from related off-shoot bands)and call it Sonofabitch(named after the song from the 'Wretch' album). Sonofabitch has been gigging around the Brisbane area since 2003, and have earned a loyal following due to their awesome live show.
Sonofabitch play all the classics from all 4 albums, including Thumb, Green Machine, One Inch Man, El Rodeo etc. In the future there will also be renditions of songs from Kyuss' bootlegs, best-of's, b-sides etc and also of songs from related projects such as Queens of the Stoneage, Slo-burn, Hermano, Unida etc.Sonofabitch band members have all played in various bands of differing style, but all have been influenced by Kyuss in some way:
Laz (ex-Misery, Greensteam) - Guitar; Rudi (ex-Japunga, ex-Post-Life Disorder, Never) - Drums;
Andy B (ex-Double Chamber, New Jack Rubys) - Bass;
Antz (Astriaal, ex-Motormoth, ex-PLD) - vocals
