The Washing Mashing, the band from town called Lodz in Polen, started as live band in 2003. After having played several concerts, the band recorded its first demo called “Agonyâ€, four songs in the climate of alternative rock music. Through next two years the band concentrated on promotion, playing numerous concerts. Discrepancies among members of the band, especially about the style of the created music, resulted in the suspension of activity for a few months. After completing new members in June 2006 demo called “Funky†was registered. In opinion of musicians from the band, new songs are more mature and are attempt to define the new own style of music of the band, however among inspirations they mention other bands like Foo Fighters, Taylor Hawkins & The Coattail Riders, Eagels Of Death Metal.
In order to make up for lost time the band gave many concerts as well as participated in many festivals, e.g. 2nd edition of “M--ode Wilki†in Warsaw, “Zderzakâ€, “Jarocin Festival 2007â€, “Erefen Festival†won “Rock ’N’ Tur†festival becoming main prize. In year 2007 they were touring Europe, tour was called “Polish Bands In Europeâ€. Now the band is in the middle of recording the material for its first album. That's our story..
