About Me

Skambiance was founded in September 2002 as a seven headed band with three horns (trumpet, alt sax and baritone sax), guitar, keyboards, bass guitar and drums. Bit by bit, Skambiance grew out to be an adequate life collective, partly because of the introduction of two extra trombones, percussion and a second guitarist.
"Party and skanking" was from the beginning on their motto and so they are the reference for a sparkling party. The group decided to bring an almost fully self arranged repertoire, larded with just a few covers. They respect the tradition of Ska to the full, but at the same time, they create a fourth generation of renovating Ska!
2004 was the year of the club circuit. Skambiance came, saw and conquered with only one goal: making the crowd go wild. This is what we do and what we like.
The new year was the appropriate time to work on their first album. "Ska Up Your Life" saw the daylight in the spring of 2006. The album was the perfect soundtrack for the heathwave of 2006!
