Crunching instrumental guitar - hard rock & metal

About Me

I grew up listening to 80s rock and metal, from Van Halen and Scorpions to Iron Maiden and Metalllica (when they were cool). In 1993 I fell into writing lead guitar (and lots of it) over my riff-heavy songs, so I became an instrumental guitarist, though I never listened to them much.

I picked up endorsements with Peavey, Alvarez Guitars, and Morley Pedals since putting out my first album, THE FIREBARD, and am gigging and recording the next album now.
I love to hear from people so drop me a line or join my friend list and post a comment!

Rough Start

I must say I was sad to see 2007 go because it was a pretty good year, but now that 2008 has been pretty awful, I definitely miss it! Nothing major has happened aside from a job switch but I’ve ...

Instrumentals No More?

I've been thinking about returning to vocal songs for a long time now despite loving the instrumentals and being able to fully realize a song all by myself. That's not an ego thing but a reality of wa...

Another New Guitar?

So the other day I'm cleaning out my house to sell it, and I run across a box in a closet, one with no labels on it. I shoved it aside, not even caring, since if I had no idea what was in it I obvious...

My House on HGTV!

You might have noticed it's been quiet here since the album release, but I haven't fallen into a black hole or something, though it's close - I've been getting my house ready to sell. Very time consum...

6 Flags - of Death!

I live close to a 6 Flags amusement park and decided to buy a season pass earlier this year, since I'm a roller coaster man, but right from the beginning I've had my doubts about this park. It's never...

Novel Draft Done!

The novel is finally done (whoo-hoo!) and comes in at just over 100,000 words, which is good. I have to rewrite the first few chapters though. The thing about writing a new story with new characters i...
