FACTS ABOUT "RAY" aka "RAMON"
Well let's see here...
I was born on August 25th, the greatest day of the year in my opinion. Haha, that's just a joke but it is a pretty nice day of the month, it never rains on that day. I'm from the southwest side of Chicago, Midway airport area. I dont go to bars, clubs, or things like that. When I get drunk I do it at home or at parties. I enjoy smoking cigarettes. I play videogames on occasion. I used to use talking boards, which means I believe in ghosts and hauntings. I listen to rock music and other stuff as well. "The Misfits" are my favorite band! I'm a non-practicing Catholic. I believe in God and I believe there is something after this life. I'm very misunderstood but that's because people dont know the things i've been through. I like people to think that my heart died a long time ago but it hasn't. I'm just really shy and I dont like making people feel uncomfortable. So I tend to keep my feelings hidden deep down inside where no one can find them and destroy them. I'll eventually do that on my own thank you...
I can be very sarcastic at times. I can also be a joker. Most of the time people think i'm being serious because I tend to keep to myself and not talk much, especially at work. But every now and then I do or say something stupid to make someone laugh or at least smile. I dont mind looking like an idiot if it brightens up someones day...or night.
Now we come to the subject of work...this is what I do for a fuckin' living. I'm a machine operator. I make bags for a living. Prescription bags and shit like that. I work with inks and all kinds of flammable materials. Lots of moving parts and gears. Dangerous if you dont know what you're doing, even more dangerous if you do. The money is ok, I dont mind it. More money would be nice, but you can't have everything you want in life.
My father does the same work and he's a pro at it. He trained me and taught me a lot. Without him I think i'd be lost because my machine is caca.
I'm a fine artist. A very creative soul. I went to the American Academy of Art in Chicago back in 1995 and had a good experience from it all. I learned a lot about who I am as an artist and as a human. I feel like i'll never understand everything about me, the crazy things I do or my outlook on the future but that's a good thing I believe. Life would be boring if we knew how it was going to turn out. Obviously, we're all going to die but it's when we're alive that we should make the most of things.

I also play the bass and guitar. I had a band many many years ago, like two years ago named "Los Krookz". It was fuckin' great practicing with these guys I call my family. They're all brothers to me and even though we dont practice anymore, we still hang out almost every weekend and who knows, maybe i'll bring the band back but under a different name...only because "Los Krookz" was a stepping stone for me. A learning experience and experiment. I had to see if I could arrange music and execute it with some success. So now the band concept will evolve to the next stage, which i'm presently working on. I miss jamming with guys but we're not dead yet so the music will continue.
Writing is something I enjoy doing. I used to write screenplays and shit like that back in the day. Now I concentrate on music and sometimes poetry. I'm a very emotional person and even though I dont show it often, I have a soft side, a romantic side. I've lived a pretty interesting life so far, met a lot of people who have come and gone in my life. People who i'll never forget and who have influenced me in one way or another. I learned a few things about certain people from my past...they were meant to stay in the past. I'll never fully understand people like this, so I'll put them in the catagory of "waste of time".
I tried writing a few comic books a long time ago. I would write the script and then illustrate them. This was around the time I wanted to work for Disney. I also got in Anime around this time as well, my favorite anime is the Ranma 1/2 series. I started drawing anime characters for a comic I wanted to put out based on what happens to a person when they die. But that didn't pan out because around that time I was dealing with a breakup and I concentrated on my abstact work instead. To this day I think about animation and what could have been.
And I also wanted to be a director believe it or not. I started school at Columbia College in Chicago but it didn't work out because I had problems with financial aid. Movies are a big part of my life. They can easily influence me in other parts of my life like my writing. I have a pretty decent collection but not nearly as big as my music collection. The same idea that I had for my anime comic I wanted to adapt to film. But yeah, that didn't work out.
So basically...
I want to leave this world knowing that i've done something with my life. I contributed in some way either through music, art, or writing. I'm an ok guy, I know I can be a hard head, but I know what's best for me and no one can tell me how to live my life or that I got to change the way I am because then it would be a lie. All changes I make in my life are mine to make. You can suggest things to me but more than likely i'm not going to pay attention because you're not me and you dont have the right to do so.
