About Me

Hey all,My name is Urs Heckmann and I've been into music since I can think. It started to become serious in the 90ies when I earned some bucks by making music for advertisement and industry showcases, which helped to finance my studies in industrial design.

Nowadays I make a living by creating professional music software, where all my interest come together: music, design and programming. But I still do a lot of music, naturally using my stuff.

My main product is a modular software synth called Zebra, which is also the reason why some people call me the ZebraGuy. You can hear it on some of the tunes I post.

Enjoy,

Urs

Piracy

You know, I'd seen it coming. It was crystal clear that at one point some egomanic bastard would crack my latest baby only to pump it carelessly through p2p networks. And even though one knows that it...

Workmode

Okay now. Workmode. It feels like my ambition had to take a break and as if my little accident (and other occurrances) came at the right time for this. Tanks are reloaded with energy. I have waded obse...

So, we're third now, and Berlin has celebrated as if we were the champs throughout the night, corrupting the traditional cab routes across Kuhdamm. Today is gonna be a comparably small match (just the...
