wolfgang glum and warner poland founded monobeat music production and supervision in berlin, kreuzberg in 2002. besides composing, producing and developing original projects, monobeat keeps busy scoring feature films, television shows and commercials. clients include: rtl, zdf, ard, universal, arte, teamworx, hager-moss, moneypenny, d.i.e. film, west, bmw, skoda, siemens, c&a and panasonic. artists such as nina hagen, chris whitley and richard cameron (arling & cameron, maki nomiya from pizzicato 5) and matthew walker (drummer for morrissey and smashing pumpkins) have also come to monobeat for production work.
monobeat has also been very active developing online music portals for various brands. online projects include: west music club, r1 web radio, west web radio, cabinet web radio, puschkin ring tone composer, optiwell podcasts.
multi-instrumentalist, warner poland, signed his first major record deal at the age of 19. since then he has worked as a producer, studio engineer as well as tour and studio musician. warner has been guitarist and musical director for various artists including nina hagen and die 3. generation. his production and remix credits include paul van dyk, bela b., alphaville and nina hagen.
in the late nineteen eighties, wolfgang glum began his professional career in his band rainbirds, producing one platinum and two gold records in the space of two years. before that, he had already made a name as an avant-garde musician touring europe with renowned ensembles and orchestras. in the nineties he founded rhythm corporation, an agency for music projects. monobeat was created when wolfgang's rhythm corporation merged with warner's alchemy studio.
