Conquering the world one instrument at a time.

About Me

I am a self taught multi-instrumentalist, composer, and artist. My primary instrument is the Celtic Harp, which I have been playing for over ten years. I have been part of the Arts in Medicine program at the University of New Mexico Hospital for the past four years where music brings peace and healing to the patients, families, and staff. I draw inspiration from a wide variety of musical genres, from east to west, and ancient to modern. My instrument collection is steadily growing partly due to the fact that I'm making many of them, including flutes, and my Kora. Im now working on an electric harp. I play the Celtic Harp, Dulcimer, Gu Zheng, Mandolin, Guitar, Bass, Kalimba, Percussion, Banjo, Kora, Erhu, Keyboards, Hammered Dulcimer, Flutes, Sitar, and others. My newest arrival is a set of Scotish small pipes. I hope to have a track up soon feturing them.------------------- Santa Fe Sky album is now available!! -----------------Gentry Bronson & I recorded Santa Fe Sky in one session on a friday afternoon early this summer. After meeting Gentry a few nights previous through our mutual friend Greg, we were encouraged to record an album together. That Friday we sat in my apartment (Alchemy Labs) and recorded the eight tracks that would make Santa Fe Sky. We pressed record on my computer and improvised the whole thing. I think we both knew something very magical was happening as soon as we nailed the first track (Santa Fe Sky). The next day we listened to what we had recorded and were very excited with the results. I took some time editing the raw WAV files and began to see a pattern in some of the titles we had selected for the tracks. Santa Fe Sky, Ceremony, and Red Clay gave me the images and idea for making it a theme album. This is the story of the Santa Fe Sky. First, the sky opens up. There is a rain ceremony. The clouds gather. The thirsty desert is quenched. There are pools of red clay. The ancestors are thanked. Everyone rests. And finally, the sun sets.Gentry is an artist on Its about music and our album is available through their web site at www.itsaboutmusic.com/gentrybronson. There you can sample the whole album, download mp3s of the album, or purchace the CD. It will also soon be available for download through more that 100 web sites.
