Every determined hero requires a devoted villain.

About Me

I'm a 33-year old VP & COO, an internationally patented mechanical designer, a hobby novelist, artist and movie nut. I presently have this (perhaps not very) brilliant idea that I can write four novels this year. I'm not sure why, as originally it was only three. Er, and a special side project I've yet to unveil. Too much. :P
You can read my work on EDIT RED and helium.com , just hold your breath or you'll start talking funny.
Feel free to subscribe to my blogs and join in on the discussions. No, you don't have to. In your defense, I'm not abundantly clever, but I may say something incredibly profound in a blog and you could miss it.
Typically this is how life goes, isn't it? You have a moment of sheer brilliance, of amazing clarity and you realize there isn't a single person around to take notice. Or you just don't like the people who are there so you pretend you didn't have the moment.
I no longer accept cash donations to call you my friend. I know other people might, but I'm not really in to rent-a-friends. Plus, you couldn't afford me. I'm easy not cheap, pal.
What else do you need, want or crave to know About Me? My favorite color is blue, but only under selective circumstance. Blue meat = not good. Blue eyes = very good. Blue toes = not good. Blue oceans = very good. Blue oatmeal = not good. See a pattern here?
I love my family, without them I wouldn't have this life. My parents might be the two best people I have ever met in this world. With a bit of luck I'll someday turn out as great as they are. The world could use more deliberately honest, selflessly kind people. Don't you think?
I also draw sometimes:
"The Punisher" based on the artwork of Tim Bradstreet
"The Magdalena" based on the artwork of Ebas
"Oracle" based on the artwork of Ed Benes
More on the historic attraction, Christ of the Abyss.

AN EASY WAY TO SAVE A LIFE.

I'd like to meet:

People who see one another not as having racial, religious or social differences; but rather see with better eyes . . . see your neighbor as a human & member of one community with the same common goal of living a life in peace and equality for the betterment of the world around us.

I don't believe this a naive dream. If you do, you've added the wrong person to your friends list and should see to that.
Go now, we'll wait. :)

I want to be surrounded by interesting, unbiased people who enjoy life and see the possibilities of a better future. Judgmental, shallow, narrow-minded, self-absorbed people annoy me. Then again, so do people who fear heaping mounds of gizzards.

Where was I?

Oh, I was having another prolific moment, sorry. Maybe I'll tell you about it later, though I have to confess my memory isn't what it used to be. I specifically enjoy meeting people who tell me how incredibly witty I am, how I make them laugh . . . so I guess I haven't met many people.

Blame it on TV!

Perhaps you've heard the recently heated debates spearheaded by the FCC claiming violent images in prime time programming cause children to behave violently.  Among the shows being targeted for "...

* You Are Here

Edmund Burke once said, "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing."  While I believe this quote applies to society as a whole, I think it's the same wisdom we ca...

Focus: Forward

Several friends have told me what I already know to be true and again, it's registered. How much time do we waste (yes, waste) thinking back on the pains of the past? Life becomes so much easier on...

Thoughts on 'A Scandal'

Do you ever watch a movie and get so involved with it that you hardly move or even look away from the screen because you don't want to miss a moment?  Imagine an entire audience vapor locked for ...

Thoughts on Smokin' Aces

First off, I think this movie was released at a miserable time for movies.  January is typically "shit month" for film releases so the really great ones are overlooked.  And, if they aren't ...
