For today is your future,
it's all you have
right now.
I wish for the acknowledgement
that within you
You are complete
And that no one
No one can come close
to the completeness within.
Oh, I'm sure there have been some
that seem to be the one
But that is tainted, fleeting, and rare.
To be real.

Love is who you are.I've always called myself a survivor of life, after Katrina I don't consider myself a victim but a survivor of all of lifes curve balls one gets thrown their way....What I and many are living is not fathomable to those who haven't experienced it. I am on my own journey of recovery from a disaster into a new reality. I am on a path of seeking "a new normal", establishing new habits and a new identity. Where is God leading me? God is number one in my life.I also like spur of the moment fun, could be jumpin in the car and driving somewhere for the weekend or go catch a good band. Spending time with family and friends. I try to live life right, treat others the way I want to be treated. I've lived from coast to coast...and have met a lot of interesting people along the way, have seen a lot, lived and lots of laughs....one has to be able to laugh at oneself to get threw this life....and I get threw this life with the help and guidance of God.Let me make it known right now, I live for God, I aim to please him, not man. Those who reject me, reject me because I choose to pick up my cross and follow Christ, who is actually the one your rejecting, not me. I am not perfect, nor will I ever be, but I strive to live right in God's eyes, not mans.
