About Me

In 2005 a resolution was drafted after the annual commemoration of NRD (National Revolutionary Day) December 4th. This resolution was a joint venture between the December 4th Committee and the P.O.C.C. (Prisoners Of Conscience Committee). In recognition of the people acknowledging for a long period of time that December 4, 1969 is one of our September 11s and 2337 W. (Monroe) Chairman Fred Hampton Way as one of our Ground Zeros, it was mandated that the system that was responsible for what has been acknowledged as one of the most brutal acts of terrorism to occur on U.S. soil, which left in its aftermath the dead bodies of Deputy Chairman Fred Hampton (21) and Defense Captain Mark Clark (22); that same system that has wreaked havoc throughout the world under the auspices of humanitarian aid and the fight for democracy be brought to question for its Weapons of Mass Destruction it dropped on the block of the Black community right in the confines of the United States of AmericaThe west side of Chicago, IL at 4:35 a.m. in particular. What has ensued has been the re-enforcement of the fact that the U.S. government that declared an all out war on the Black Panther Party in specific, the Black Power Movement in general, and all Black and other oppressed people overall, not only is still shootingbut has become more intense, more Machiavellian with its tactics! The powerful, deadly Daley Machine that calls its shots from the infamous fifth floor of the Chicago City Hall, during the tenure of Mayor Richard J. Daley Sr. instilled a fear in Chicagos Negro preachers that the fear of God couldnt compare to! A Machine that shook these preachers to the point in which under the orders of Gangster Daley Sr. had them publicly on national television, denounce the late Dr. Martin Luther King. A fear so powerful that the tremors caused by Daley Sr. that in many cases his heir apparent, Richard Daley Jr., the current Mayor, need not crack his whip to keep the plantation moving, business as usual. It is often said that it would wake the dead if found out all whom the Daley machine has under its thumb. It is commonly quoted that Massa Daley runs the slave ship called Chicago, through preachers, politicians, and gang chiefs. It instills a fear that permeates through pulpits and city council committee chairs alike. This fact was evidenced with the zipped lipped position that many of Chicagos Black religious leaders took with not saying anything about the proposed street sign for Chairman Fred. Better yet, the unprecedented move or lack of movement by 2nd Ward Alderman Madeline Haithcock to not even call the proposed ordinance up for a city council vote! One of Don Daleys enforcers, Transportation Committee Chair Alderman Tom Allen of the 38th ward was so comfortable when he spoke of how he and his cohorts run city hall! He actually told a Chicago reporter that their plan is to stall out the time for the street sign proposal to be brought to the City Council floor for a vote! Alderman Allen stated (he)feared that the vote would cause a racial divide in the city council that has not been witnessed since the infamous council wars! This is a strategic move that has been orchestrated from the top that evidently has trickled down to the point that the sell out Black & Brown Aldermen are in concert with this criminal act against the community.NO JUSTICE! NO STREET! NO PEACE!*Phone calls, write letters, fax, continuously flooding the following city officials offices demanding that the Chairman Fred Hampton Street Sign proposal be brought before the City Council.Mayor Richard J. THE STRUGGLE FOR THE STREET SIGN CONTINUES
The powerful Daley Machine along with the Fraternal Order of Police, instilled such a fear into Chicago Alderman Madeline Haithcock 2nd Ward who submitted proposal* for street sign naming the block of 2300 W. Monroe to Chairman Fred Hampton Way- and a number of other elected officials to the point that they feared to even mention the name of Chairman Fred Hampton in the presence of Mayor Richard M. Daley! After the proposal had passed in the transportation committee and went to the City Council floor for a vote Alderman Tom Allen 38th Ward and Chair Transportation Committee, under the direction of the FOP, pulled the proposal back to committee while working to change the long standing requirements for naming a street!
