OUR MISSION:
Musicians On Call, a nonprofit organization formed in 1999, uses music and entertainment to promote and complement the healing process for patients in the interest of improving their quality of live and creating a better living and healing environment.
Additionally, Musicians On Call seeks to raise awareness of the beneficial effects of music and entertainment.
MOC'S PROGRAMS:
LIVE PERFORMANCES: given by volunteer artists who give in-room performances for patients undergoing treatment or who are unable to leave their hospital beds; Celebrity Visits: Artists who are on tour visit and entertain at hospitals around the country.
CD PHARMACIES: provides hospitals with complete CD listening libraries and CD players for patient use.
PROJECT PLAYBACK: gives patients the chance to have their original music recorded and produced. Special software enable patients to compose their own songs and work with volunteer professionals who will provide guideance in the writing and recording process.

Musicians On Call and The Kristen Ann Carr Fund have secured a pair of great tickets for all 18 shows on Bruce Springsteen's Fall 2007 U.S. Tour and this is your chance to win them! All seats are general admission tickets in the pit or in the first tier. All winning bids will be tax deductible above the face value of the tickets.

This tour is in celebration of Bruce Springsteen's new album, 'Magic,' set to be released on October 2nd.He will be touring with the E-Street Band featuring the following musicians:

About the Charities

Musicians On Call (www.musiciansoncall.org) brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities through bedside performances and CD Pharmacies. To date, MOC volunteer musicians have played for over 88,000 patients, their families, and caregivers.

The Kristen Ann Carr Fund (www.sarcoma.com) provides grants for cancer research and seeks to improve all aspects of a cancer patient's life, with an emphasis on adolescents and young adults.
