I find it amazing that there are so many independent artists out there. The world doesn't seem to be that big of a place when you see other people focusing on their art, music, passion. Everyone has a gift to share, and whatever that may be is what makes each of us unique in our own way. Follow Your Dreams..................Hi everyone and welcome to the GLIEM myspace page. Just a little info about me.......I've been singing my whole life, but it took me a long time to get brave enough to sing in front of an audience. I started out by going to karaoke bars. I would have a couple of drinks......and well, then I would sing......sometimes with my back to the audience because I was sooo nervous! I later took some vocal lessons just to get used to singing in front of people. I never realized I could write music until I lived with a friend that just happened to own a guitar. I thought to myself.....if she can write so can I, and the rest is history. I've been writing for ten years all the time ever since. Although as a kid I did make up little songs and plays, which I still have the tapes of. That's another story.......I find it amazing to bring a song into fruition from an idea that is sparked in your soul.
