I was born in Quito, Ecuador, but have lived most of my life in the San Francisco Bay Area. I have had a wonderful life - have traveled all over the world and have met many fascinating people. I believe that there is a reason for everything that happens in our lives and if we wait long enough, we eventually figure out that life is a school and most of the lessons are all about experiencing life, and growing emotionally and spiritually. We all have different paths, but in some way they are all inter-connected, so I think that we need to learn to live in peace with each other and help one another - and the toughest lesson of all and what I believe Jesus was trying to teach us - unconditional love, compassion and forgiveness (not easy when somebody is being a jerk to us - - and we all know some of those!) but, I think that also means that we should accept, love and not judge one another - whether we are beautiful, not so beautiful, gay, straight, purple, white, blue, rich, not so rich, famous, not so famous, or whatever. I feel that everybody is equal and connected and I try to treat everyone with respect and dignity. I was on television as a teenager and dabbled in politics a little bit later on (talk about a "growth" experience !!). Now, I go with the flow and enjoy whatever the universe brings for me every day and I am grateful for every little thing that I'm blessed with.
